Certification of your quality management system to ISO 9001:2000
If you have developed and implemented a quality management system (QMS) in line with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, CI can assess your organisation through the following cost-effective three-phase process.
The first two phases are collectively known as the ‘initial assessment’ and successful completion of them will result in the certification of your organisation. Phase 3 covers the ongoing certification of your organisation following the issue of your certificate.
Both the Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits will be conducted on-site at your premises. You will be provided with an audit plan in advance of each audit and will be fully briefed on what to expect. Any issues raised during either of these audits will require attention and closure before proceeding to the next phase.
Following the issue of your certificate, surveillance audits will be undertaken in line with an agreed schedule to ensure the continued effectiveness of your quality management system. It may be necessary to complete a re-assessment audit at the end of your third year of certification in order that your certification may continue.
Further details of what will be involved during each audit are available using the free download below. For those users who do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, this is available free of charge using the button below.
