Certification of your information security management system to BS 7799 Part 2: 2002
|
If you have developed and implemented an information security management system (ISMS) in line with the requirements of BS 7799 Part 2: 2002, CI can assess your organisation through the following cost-effective process.
The 'Initial Assessment' will include a Stage 1 'Preparedness' audit and a Stage 2 'Implementation' audit. Both audits will be completed on-site at the client's premises and the two-stage process reduces the likeliness of 'surprise issues' at the final hurdle. Successful completion of the initial assessment and the closure of any outstanding nonconformities will result in the issue of a CI certificate for BS 7799 Part 2: 2002. A three-year certification period will commence upon issue of the certificate, and continued effectiveness of the ISMS will be verified during regular surveillance visits in line with an agreed surveillance schedule.
